2. Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Contact Form

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and message. This data is used solely to respond to your consultation request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract / pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries). Retention: 3 years from last contact, or as required by Austrian commercial law (§ 212 UGB: 7 years for business correspondence).

2.2 Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website performance. GA4 collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, device type) using cookies. No personal profiles are created without consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent via the cookie banner). Data transfer: Google LLC (USA) - Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or cookies. GA4 will not fire before you grant consent.

2.3 Server Log Files

Our hosting provider automatically collects standard server log files (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp). These are retained for a maximum of 7 days for security and debugging purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure website).

This website uses cookies only with your consent. We use:

• Analytics cookies (GA4): Set only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. Stored in your browser for up to 2 years.
• Consent cookie (localStorage): A technically necessary entry in your browser's localStorage that stores your cookie preference. Not a tracking cookie.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage (browser settings → Clear site data).
